Sons of Sumter
Amasha Hope is developing Sons of Sumter, a Sumter, South Carolina-based mentorship and empowerment initiative for eligible male students in grades 11 and 12.
The proposed model would pair enrolled students with vetted mentors through high school graduation and for two years afterward. Programming would focus on:

Military service, entrepreneurship, and employment pathways
2026 Community Introduction
Sons of Sumter will be introduced to the public during the youth male empowerment conversation at SabCon 2026 on Saturday, December 5, in Sumter, South Carolina.
The 2026 presentation marks the initiative’s community introduction and development phase. Sons of Sumter is not yet an operating school program or an approved partnership of the Sumter School District.
Program implementation will depend on appropriate planning, safeguards, funding, and school or district cooperation.
Community Engagement
Amasha Hope welcomes expressions of interest from parents, prospective mentors, educators, employers, health professionals, and community leaders.
We will collect student information only through an authorized, consent-based process after finalizing the program framework and participation procedures.

South Carolina Registration Status
Amasha Hope, a California public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3) organization, has filed for registration as a foreign entity in South Carolina and for registration to solicit charitable contributions with the South Carolina Secretary of State’s Division of Public Charities. All filing fees have been paid, and both registrations are pending confirmation. Documentation will be provided upon request.
